The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), Southern Medicine Economic Research Institute

It has been researching and analyzing pharmaco-economy since 1979. (the Chinese government established 13 research institutes of this kind in China, but these organizations have been consolidated to one.)

The SFDA Southern Medicine Economic Research Institute, one of the largest research organizations in China, with more than 2,000 researchers and physician monitors in more than 90 municipalities across the country. Statistical data available from the above research institute is also utilized as the source of information for the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
